Yeah...um,
1. Be serious, because this has been bothering me - if a person really DOES have multiple personalities and one of the personalities commits suicide, is it a homocidal suicide?
2. Answer the last of this series of questions: What keeps us living? Energy. What gives us energy? Mitochodria. What keeps them going? More energy. Now tell me - where did it all start?
3. If you're a scientist, can you believe in God?
4. I've asked myself several times why life is so boring. Am I just not that easy to please considering I'm a future artist who, occasionally, goes spazztic with sugar and, usually, air and friends who are even worse?
5. I need new ideas! Such as: things to draw, things to ponder, things to write about...etc.
6. One last question. What's up with the whole 'dream' thing!?!? I don't care about the scientific stuff, but really. Does it tell you stuff or is it just images your mind's collected? I recently had a premonition, so that's why I bring this up.
The End.^^

Are they just dictated from society? Does religion play more of a role? They may stem from a time when religion and society where far more intertwined, which would explain alot of the crossover. Does our self-centered, individualistic society demand self-gratification over the sanctity of the rights of others? Why do eastern cultures seem to act with so much more ethical concerns that western ones? Does religon stem from a need for a moral code, dating back to early man? What were ethics like prior to religon? Any help with these would be greatly appreciated.

Altruism-is selfless concern for the welfare of others. Altruism focuses on a motivation to help others or a want to do good without reward.

I'm working on a psychology paper on the topic of Altruism and I just need a few thoughts and ideas from anyone who is interested and knows any little thing about the subject. Your help is greatly appreciated and I am willing to choose the best answer so you can get 10 points. Here are some questions given by the professor to help us out with it. I'm not asking for anyone to do my report for me, it is just that outside opinions are going to really help, thank you again.

How have altruistic acts played a role in your life?
Describe when you have been helped in an altruistic way by another
person or helped someone yourself in this way.
How do you think we can encourage others to be helpful members of
society?
What factors have played a role in why you have chosen not to help
someone? How might you have changed the situation?

My daughter and I went for a walk today- I wasn't expecting to do any pictures of her, but I had my camera in my purse. She was oblivious to me being there, so I started taking a few- I think they're some of the best pictures I've ever been able to take of her. She doesn't pose well- very hyper child.

Keep in mind the lighting isn't great because I wasn't expecting to take pictures of her and it was about high noon.

This one, she was looking at a leaf-

This one, she stopped to smell flowers through the fence (I did some color editing)

This one, she perched up on the ledge and was looking off at her uncle- who must have been acting silly

I have a timeline on the Scarlet Pimpernel due and I'm a slow reader, I found a timeline online with dates but I need someone to tell me if these specifics are in the book.

1791-August: Formation of the League of the Scarlet Pimpernel; all members swear secrecy and obedience to Sir Percy Blakeney. Training begins.

1794-January: League of the Scarlet Pimpernel rescues the Dauphin. He goes into unrecorded exile in Brussels

Augest: League of the Scarlet Pimpernel lies dormant.

1795-February: In reaction to the White Terror, the League resumes activities.

Don't tell me I need to read this myself, I only had three days to read it and I can't finish it in time.

Have you ever seen an original or a reproduction of Adolf Hitler's paintings?

Go to "Snyder's Treasures - ORIGINAL Adolf Hitler Artworks" on the Internet to view some of them.

To me, they are wonderful works of art, although in the vast majority of them, there are no human beings protrayed: only buildings of some kind, or rural scenes.

One might well ask, "How could such a hideous, monstrously cruel person, envision and execute such visions of supreme serenity and beauty?"

Can you explain such a phenoemenon? It boggles the mind to contemplate such an enigma.

What's your opinion, and/or explanation?

An intrigued,

Wotan

Not sure if you've seen the movie Tommy Boy but it's sort of like that. I think these two people are conning folks into believing they're cousins, but they're really much more than that. But i need proof. What's the quickest yet least expensive way to do that with out them knowing. Should i be looking along the lines of a private detective, or would geneology be the way to go. This is in the atlanta area. Would like answers from people that are experienced with this.
