with new knowledge comes new fear
the danger of which we hold dear
fire burns and my brain bubbles
a recipe for trouble

now that I'm awake
everything is fake
the terrors start
and I tear apart

long lies are revealed
a crack in my shield
paradise lost
now filled with exhaust

This one is about the eiphany I had when I first found goth, emo, ect. I felt smarter and I had a better understanding of the world, but it was a negitive understanding.

restless is my head
half the world is sleeping
the other half is dead.
all of them are resting
who will tuck me in bed? " ..

So many people ask for homework help here in the HISTORY section because they don't read or do their research and basically just copy the knowledge of those that actually LOVE to learn it?

I don't think it's fair. As much fun as it is to help, it's getting kind of annoying that almost all questions here are based on homework help instead of something to actually talk about.

Hi there! I was just wondering what would you recommend for me. I'm looking for a Stephen King novel similar to the Towers series. This is a surprise gift to my best friend, whom I have grown very distant from in the last year. I wanted to surprise her with a novel for Christmas and have no clue which one to get her. She's a Stephen King fan and a total horror fan. I don't plan on getting her the obvious classics like It, Pet Cemetery, Misery, or Carrie and such. If you have any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate the feedback.
Also, I was just wondering if Cell would be a good option. It sounds interesting enough, so if you've read that, would you recommend it? Why or why not?

I want to read a book about this famous WWII battle. A novel from the POV of the Nazis, especially the soldiers, would be very interesting.

Or a historical perspective of the battle. Any ideas?

I had to write a poem about an animal to a friend in my Pre-AP class.

I need help because I don't think I used the right punctuation and capitalization and my stanzas might not even be in the right format so if you could just look over it and give me your opinion about it that would be helpful! :)

Dinosaur Poem

Our laughter fills the air due to this image of an important animal in which we share.

A friendship such as this comes once in a lifetime since it is so rare.

Dinosaurs, they fill us with excitement and glee;

So simple and childish these silly jokes, yet to you and me they mean more than anyone could ever see.

Through these creatures I am reminded of you.

Something used to make me happy and incapable of feeling blue.

I love my best always and forever until the end,

Taylor we will be inseparable friends!

I'm open to anything as long as it isn't some sort of sappy, hopeless romantic book or anything. A quick recap'd be good too.
