if you dont want to dress up, just wear normal clothes and be someone like bella from twilight.

if you want to be more classified as dressed up, you could chose some male character and make a fake beard or something...

You could dress up as Holly from the Artemis Fowl series. She's an elf officer so all you have to wear is a helmet, a green suit/green clothes, and bring all the electronics you can carry.

Hope this helps!

What books have you read recently? You probably have to tell the class about the character. Maybe we can help you come up with an outfit for a character like that.

Nancy Drew
or
1 of the sisters from "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants"
Just decorate a pair of blue jeans (look at the cover). Then wear a plain t-shirt

can you be a comic book character?
-jean grey from x-men
-mary jane from spiderman
if not...
-Jean Louise “Scout” Finch from To Kill a Mockingbird
-Francie Nolan from a Tree Grows in Brooklyn
-Scarlett O'Hara from Gone with the Wind (maybe you could pick a scene in which she wasn't wearing a dress, if there is one)

One of the pirates from Peter Pan?
Oliver Twist, or Nancy from Oliver Twist?
Huckleberry Finn? Tom Sawyer?
Pocahontas?
I'm trying to think of characters that would be easy to costume.
Hope this helps.

You could dress up as Bella from Twilight. Basically you could just wear you're own clothes and you could/would be her!
