I've got the same problem with the Micron pens, I like them but they run out of ink so fast. And technical pens clog, so I prefer pens that can do the 'look' of technical pens but are under $4 each!!!

My favorites so far are the Itoya Finepoint system (fade resistant, acid free) for $1.99 at the art store, they come in ultra fine and fine line. I like really thin lines and these come in a .6, .4 and .2. and are waterproof.

But in a pinch I do have a whole bunch of Pilot Hi-Tecpoint V7 Fine, they have a lot of ink and are waterproof, and run $2 each. Office supply stores carry them by the box.

Both brands did ALL the artwork for the Ferret Tarot (you can find pics online if you want to check with google). I was really happy to use both brands. I use them to do paper doll designs too, and spot illustration.

umm...well...i usually use the brand BIC, or Papermate, if you know where those are. Or sometimes any pen i could find. Maybe cause it is your in highschool, and the brand of pen you have.
