She corrected Newton's Energy Formula, and found out that mass times distance = Energy was wrong, she said it was mass times distance, Squared = Energy. I know she died in her 30s, and she was from France. Who am I talking about?

Alright guys, tell me what you think about these implications, which I consider philosophical problems, if the Christian heaven exists. Have you ever thought about these?

According to tradition, heaven is a place where there is no longer "sin". This is one problem because it takes away a lot of our free will - our freedom to be who/what we want. Even if you're religious and don't want to sin anyway, it's still a problem because you're ability to avoid sinful practice, which you might take a little pride in right now, wouldn't be your choice. Basically, go to heaven...lose your freedom. Doesn't sound like paradise to me.

Another problem deals with "purpose". Right now on earth, we may not know the overall purpose for existence, but we at least have a temporary one. Basically, the thing that gets us (or most of us) out of bed everyday is knowing that we have the opportunity to make our life a little bit better - and it that it can get better.

I'm not the kind of person who believes in goverment conspiracy, but I think that there is somthing to be said here. Is'nt strange that there are no real plane wreakage near the pentagon, and the building does'nt look like it got hit by a plane. If you compare to the planes aftermath when they hit the twin towers, or other buildings in the past there are concrete evidence that a plane crashed there. The black box that was found does not agree with the plane hitting the pentagon.
But then again there are several light posts down that the plane hit before it hit the pentagon.
A big plane flying that low, fast, and at a low attitude would had hit the ground first. Right??
I know the pentagon is a stronger building then others, but strong enought to withstand a boeing 757??
Before I heard any conspiracy in regards of the pentagon, it did'nt look right then and still does'nt. What do you think?????

It has been a religious rumors that god/God made all things, like the light and darkness. If so, before the thing called "light" and "darkness" was created, what then was the state of condition? Common sense provides that there could only be darkness in the absence of light. What do you think?

I just finished watching The Wizard of Oz for probably the millionth time. I have probably read it just as many times. The ending has confused me ever since I was a little kid. I would have stayed in Oz. To me, Kansas seemed so dull and boring. What would you have done? Stayed in Oz or gone home? Just wondering. Pax - C

As part of a competitive dance team, I need a good song that isnt popular and overplayed to choreograph a solo to, prefferably one thats not rap or hip hop, if you please. I need to take it to competition in february, and need to have it ready by january. The music is needed by december in order to get it cut.

Most of the music Ive found is only good for a duet or ensemble, which is all fine and dandy, but I like i said, I need a solo, since Im trying out for officer next year. Any ideas?

A few days ago someone, apparently echoing the Chinese Communist Party line, said on this program, that the protesters who were shot on Tian-anmin Square, Beijing, in 1989, were just hippie rabble, stirred up by outside influence.
This sounds odd, as in '89 there were no hippies AND BECAUSE the "hippy philosophy" (such as it was) had been POLITICALLY VERY MUCH FAR LEFT !!!"
Che Guavera and even Mao were their idols!!! True, true, true.

This is the strangest question but I reckon anyone here at quarter to four on a Saturday might be up to answering it. My question is...is it strange to crave a deeper meaning to your life? It's only begun occuring to me recently that it might be. I'm just back from a thirtieth birthday party where I met some people from secondary school, people I haven't met in twelve years, along with others with whom I've kept in touch. It was SO anti-climactic...I thought it would be emotional and dramatic meeting each other again, thought we would have plenty to reminisce about, plenty of reflections about what it's like turning thirty and what we've learned of life and ourselves. Nobody seemed to think there was anything significant or remarkable about it, though. There was nothing but the usual light banter. It was all so casual. One other guy admitted to me that he felt the same way-- someone I keep in touch with, and who's "on my wavelength"-- but nobody else seemed to. Am I strange?

King Juan Carlos, of Spain, when Fat-Face called Spain's P.M. "a fascist". No one in the world has better credentials to do this than King J-C : he it was, when he was first placed on the throne by Franco, faced by right-wing demands for the exclusion of communist reps in parliament, insisted that, as long a he was king, they would have equal rights of representation.
