i'm working on writing a book. I'm 13, but my literary skills are pretty good for my age. the person that wrote Eragon was 15 when the first was published. I have two suggestions:
1. I'm thinking about writing something that could be the next Harry Potter. It going to be a fantasy as well, it includes a magical school, something about blood lineage, and a prophecy. The main characters, however, is a girl, two or her friends, and a magical creature that shares a connection with the girl. I'm hesitant about writing it, because the magical school idea was a big part in Harry Potter, and I don't want to be accused to plagiarism.
2. I feel a little safer about this one, but I'm not quite as into it as the first. It takes place in medieval times, includes mythical creatures, such as an elf, and the main character is a boy. It has a few references to famous characters in Arthurian legends, such as King Arther, Merlin, and Lady of the Water. Magic is a major part of the plot, as is #1.

My parents have given me an old oil painting on wood that they had in their attic. It is of a young serving girl in wooden clogs holding a jug and looks very old; similar to a 16th century Dutch artist. The signature looks like Ritter or Ritte but I cannot find anyone by that name. Has anyone heard of this name?

Because after commiting a fault I feel of regretting over it and I ask whether it is forgiven without conducting a process of confessing; and what balance will be when a sense of regretting is stronger than confessing.

You know, when you do a favor for someone, pay a visit, buy a gift, etc. You're sacrificing something, be it large or small, like money, time, etc. So why does it give you pleasure?

Lookin' Out The Window

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Fiery tap water anxiously flowed
I see Niagara, churning up soap
For an instant, I'm there, truly amazed
A "tap" on the hip snaps me out of daze
Barely overheard to the sink filling up,
Was the voice of my Linleigh requesting a cup?
T'was not for a drink but, to go out and play
With sand, mud and water (her plans for the day)
Easing in dishes and silverware
I lived among "suds" my gaze unaware
Creating "sud" people, "sud" homes and a town
Even "sud" cars that were driving around!
Yet another small voice brought me right back
Matthue came in for just a few snacks
A surprise for the others playing outside
I glanced out the window with pure peace of mind
Shutting the "tap" down and grabbing a sponge
I drift away to those days I was young
Playing ball, running and climbing up trees
Now I watch my children do all of these
Who will Believe?
(about a very gifted child I know at the school where I teach, yup, a six year old psychic, he truly is amazin' *^_^*)
Rubber ducks and matchbox cars
A stranger in first grade
Why you know all that will happen?
you’re just a product as God made
Spirits all around you
voices callin’ out
in you mind there’s no denying,
adults hold the doubt
And the pain reigns though
your pleading case, deaf ears back to you
You’re the only one who’s left alone
who’ll accept you?
~
(Chorus)
‘Cause you’re the only one
you hear cryin’ out
Shadow’s adjacent ‘round you
mirrored in your eyes
Still they don’t see
what’s been hidin’ underneath
There’s no time now for foolishness
Who will believe?
~
Your predictions of the weather
blowed off as shear luck
When you said James would get better
once more just not enough
Almost seven now and don’t know how
to prove God made you devine
What’s it take for a kid today
turning water into wine?
bloody kisses
Her heart as black as coal
Her soul belongs to wishes
She knew her part,she knew her role
Tied down with bloody kisses
Her slender thighs, porcelain white
Her hips she moved with purpose
Making love had never held such fright
Even fearing for my life, I stayed in her circus
With every thrust and moan
I was being ravaged
As I squirmed and groaned
She a total savage
She looked down and mocked me
With scorn and discontent
She was quite unhappy
I, completely spent
I would like to know of anyone who uses photoshop. I like to take pictures and mess with them to do some cool stuff to the pics. My question is....what progam do you use, where can you get it [if you know] and what are some cool things you can do with that particular program. i would also like to know about more professional programs that can take away blemishes in photos, leave everything b&w except for one or two colors, things like that. Thanks a bunch!
From most people who've ive spoken to, they believe that America and Britian won the war, preety much alone. However, while I know the Allies won WW2, it was down to Russia really. To all those into history, but mainly to those who aren't, without looking it up, do you know battles Russia had to participate in, and how difficult it was compared to us English with the Americans?
Germany invaded many european nations. however many of these nations had done the exact same thing to many other nations as well. such as france and england. england did some real brutal things to many other nations in the past. and right after ww2 was over france was trying to regain her colonies in algeria and vietnam.
yeah yeah, i know all about the holocaust and all the horrible things that happend, but i think its great that these other european nations that were attacked by germany. it was time that they got what they deserved.
bile
Stuck in the back of my throat
Bitter, nasty, horrible taste
People preconcieve too fast
Black and brown and yellow too
Why do we hate
Try to see the good in each
I don't understand
Why someone would choose
To taste the pure bile of hate?
