Take me

The first time it happened, I remember the day
I was 15, my best friend was May.
We were always close, our parents divorced,
Nothing we did ever seemed forced.

We were inseperable, in everything we did,
we helped each other when our parents hit the skids.
I guess it was inevitable, we were meant to be.
Just a matter of time, in love don't you see?

Neither of us knew what we were doing,
the feel of her skin, it felt soothing to me.
A little test, here and there, a struggle for a while,
May and I together, on the bed smile upon smile.

Where she is today, I haven't got a clue,
All I know for sure, Is the new girls name was Sue.
May and I remain friends, it is never the same,
never go back, once you've played that game.

With all the grooming, the cleaning the trimming. Theres the inefficient fuel consumption, the constant fluid replacement, and the weird smell coming from the trunk.
What would you add or subtract to make your body better? More efficient? More user friendly?

I was just reading some stuff on the net when I came across an interesting quote from a person named "Dresden James". Only thing is, when I searched for any information on who this "Dresden James" is, I always just came across the same quotes but never any information on who he is...

The ideal tyranny is that which is ignorantly self-administered by its victims. The most perfect slaves are, therefore, those which blissfully and unawaredly enslave themselves.
~Dresden James

When a well-packaged web of lies has been sold gradually to the masses over generations, the truth will seem utterly preposterous and its speaker a raving lunatic.
~Dresden James

Help please.

From what I undertand about ancient history, Gauls weren't very civilized. Neither were Britons, at least around the time of the Romans and ancient Greeks. When and how did they become more "professional", like having the king of England and queens and other more "civilized" roles in the world? I know that Britain got important in the Middle Ages, how did this change come about?

Or am I wrong, and the Romans wrongfully portrayed the northern world as big hairy Neanderthals?

Today is the anniversary of D-Day. I would like to share this with all the Military families and all of you who have forgotten what our freedom means. I hope you enjoy this clip. I am proud to be an American and I support our troops. I pray you come home soon. The second website tells of that horrific battle that our fathers, sons, husbands and grandfathers fought in.

and what is it that makes that particular book your favorite? Mine happens to be Phantoms. It takes real creativity and literary genius to write a book so engrossing and so creepy that I literally can't sleep unless I've finished the whole thing.

I have over 500 paperbacks (dated in the last 2 years) and some hardbacks that I want to get rid of (redo-ing my "reading room"). They are all in great condition. I don't want to deal with selling them individual on an auction site, and was wondering if there was a site like powells.com or cash4books.net that deals with non-textbooks.

For homework in globel history, we have to fill out a chart with a turning point that the teacher had given us and we had to describe it and state it's impact. Since we already turned in our books, we have to relay on our review books. Some of the things aren't in the review book. So can someone help me with these? All I need is a small describition and a breif impact.

The things I need:
Neolitic Revolution
Fall of Rome
Mongol Conquest (just Russia and China)
Bubonic Plague
Crusades
Renaisance
Protestant Reformation
Scientific Revolution
Elightment
French Revolution
WW1
Russian Revolution
Cold War
Fall of Communism
