I think our human nature compels us to seek something if we want it earnestly enough as long as there is no absolute proof that what we want doesn't exist. If we have proof that it doesn't exist, then seeking it is delusion but otherwise it is a reasonable thing to do, I think.

I also think that if we aren't very passionate about wanting it, then we demand proof that it exists before we will seek it and we will weigh the effort required to seek it against the possible gain.

It could be God we are seeking, but it could other things such as extra terrestrial life, for example. If you agree with me, what I am asking for is a concise way to say all of the above.

Immortal love so willingly shared,
It is all about the way you have cared,
For each tear I shed before you,
You bring me ten smiles, by the things you do.

Your selflessness, protection and devotion,
Mixed together in a beautiful concoction
Of your love, which each day I drink,
Thus grows stronger each and every link

Between father and child,
Nursed with care mild,
This eternal, unbreakable chain,
For linked we are in pleasure and pain.

And all I can give you in return,
Is a promise that I shall never turn
My back on you, whatever the situation be,
I will be there when you need me

(its 4 father's day)

Yes, I have made many mistakes. because of that, my world will not be perfect. However, I have done also much good and therefore I can cope with the evil recompense of my mistakes.
in fact, my life is constant overcoming of my failures and mistakes.
I will never be perfect. I will never overcome all my mistakes. but I will always try and my life will always have meaning because I am trying to be better.
I will always have to carry have load on a hill. But I will not complain and my life will always be worthwhile.

Hurry up, I just can't wait
I gotta do it now I can't be late
I know I'm not afraid I gotta get out the door
If I don't do it now I won't get anymore
You try to criticize my drive
If I lose I don't feel paralyzed
It's not the game it's how you play
And if I fall I get up again now

Chorus:

I get up again, over and over
I get up again, over and over
I get up again, over and over
I get up again, over and over

taken from the song"over and over"from Madonna

Beyond just the belief that our senses are giving us the right information and we are "logical", like what is the proof that this is the only way to link the cause and the effect!!!

"The Skinning of an Angel" was made when I was 'a bit under the weather.' It reflects how I felt when I was not being able to paint.

Pretty heavy.

How does being posted by a celeb make you more or less likely to star the question? If the question is offensive to you will you still star it if it makes you really really think? If the question is simple to understand yet interesting does that get your star? I would like to know because I want a 1000 stared question some day :)
