This is probably a silly question but I've been praying and asking him to come into my life and direct my path, however I still feel empty & alone. I'm starting to think that he has his ear plugs on when it comes to hearing my prayers. Should I just give up? More than anything else in this world, I really want him in my life, but I feel like it's trying to find the needle in the hay stack. Maybe by trying to have the faith that I used to have
will help me feel alive again. I have everything money could buy and I'm financially stable, however I'm extremely unhappy because I don't have that peace in my heart (if that makes sense). I feel like a piece of the puzzle is missing and that piece is God..however I've been asking him to come into my life forever and nothing happens.. should I give up? Any advice or ideas will be appreciated. Thanks.

are we really? if we were to rid ourselves of all that which we have read, heard, experienced, created and rememberd etc. who would we be?
I mean can you tell the difference when you are playing a role and being yourself?
and when one is himself, what does that mean anyway?
Can you tell the difference between what you know and what you have read?
We seem to be a bundle of things stacked on top of each other, mostly coincedently.
Think if you were born in korea, you would be completely different, exept for those things which make you human same biological structure, your brain, emotions etc.
One seems to be like an empty egg shelf, which can be filled up anyway. There seems to be no concrete you or no real essence, no you. Only something changing, something put together by where ever you are in time, culture, upbringing etc.
???

Sorry for my bad english, it is not my mother tounge.

Gsus2/F Gsus2/E
So open up your morn-ing light and

I understand how to play either a Gsus2 or an F but which one should I play? Then with the Gsus2/E what should I play? Why does it show two different chords for the same verse?

Why is there a slash between the two, does that mean I can choose which one to play or what? Thanks!

I'm hosting a film discussion and am looking for a good documentary about art/artists and how they relate with their community at large. Does anyone have any good suggestions? We were thinking originally about Andy Warhol, but I'd like some other suggestions for a documentary. Looking for a film not as much about the artists but about the community.

My Gran was married before she met my Granddad and had two daughters. Her 1st husband beat her and she left him, but he got custody of the girls. It hurt my gran too much to see them, so, being who she is, she chose to keep them a secret and hasn't seen them for years (almost 50 years since my dad is 48!). My g aunt Elaine used to keep in touch with them, but died several years ago. I found out about them about the same time, but my gran doesn't know that i know....

There was a time when there was a certain code of conduct that taggers went by where they showed respect for such public works of art as murals and their code even kept them away from tagging such places as hospitals and churches. But, at least here in LA, there doesn’t seem to be such a code anymore.

Why are these jerks tagging murals and other public works of art?

Is it because they are envious of real artists with real talent and this is how they show their obvious shortcomings?

Is it because they have small penises and somehow f**king with other people somehow makes them feel like real men (98% of taggers are male)?

Is it because they have so little self-esteem and self-respect that they think the only way they will ever leave their ‘mark’ upon the world is by physically leaving their ‘mark’ on somebody else’s wall, just like dogs leave their ‘mark’ when they hike their leg and pee on the same wall?

I have more respect for a stray dog than a tagger.

Why tag?
