If the human race thinks we should find a way to control and manipulate the universe than it is already full of itself.

Arrogance has both positive and negative outcomes. We are an arrogant species. In terms of the age of the universe, our presence here is but a slice of time. We will learn, hopefully, over the course of time.

no...if the human race weren't FULL OF ITSELF then we wouldn't have the gumption to make progress of any kind....example...take that audaciousness out of mankind and figure out where we would find any kind of leader. humility would get us all killed!...lol
