"The Skinning of an Angel" was made when I was 'a bit under the weather.' It reflects how I felt when I was not being able to paint.

Pretty heavy.

Nice study of anatomy, but otherwise a waste of good paint. Overall, a pointless, self-indulgent romp through self pity expressed through the plagarism of a copyrighted anatomical photo.

I wanted to see a vagina too, but the more open minded artist in me saw the back of a flayed man( or woman) with broken wings. Great subject. Is it finished? Is it possible to glaze over it to give the muscle a 'wet' look or maybe use a very intense white to pop out the highlights of the muscle. Well done regardless.

It's interesting, somewhat reminiscent of Henri Magritte.

That is interesting. What is the medium? It is a very nice rendering of sinew. Reminds me of the wings being shot off Ben Afllecks character in Dogma.

Well,
sorry but it is rather confusing.
I enlarged the picture and made it smaller,
but still I didn't get what was it about untill I saw its title.
There is a great combination of coulour though.

It is revolting and disgusting to take a closeup of a vagina and then paint it.
