Ask your friends and classmates who sing who they study with.

Try searching online with keywords like "voice teacher", "singing teacher", etc., if "voice coach" doesn't pull up anybody.

Call the music departments of your local colleges and universities. And check with the high school music and band teachers, too.

Church choir directors often know who the voice teachers/coaches in town are.

There's a start.

Check in the phone book and ask other theaterical people around you. They'd probably know of someone willing to teach you and produces good singers. Some companies just don't help at all, they just have you sing and sing but you never get better. Before you are ready to take voice lessons you need to realize that they will tell you when you aren't doing something right and you need to be able to take that. Good luck!

Go to Google and type in "voice lessons in ______" fill in the blank with the name of your city. Good luck, though. I live in Indiana and cannot find one anywhere! I have been looking for 2 months!

By word of mouth - sorry couldn't resist that.
You could check any number of directories - or do a plain keyword search on a search engine (the button for Yahoo! is on your screen now!) and include the placename of where you live or the nearest town/city you are prepared to travel to.
Know any actors? - they'll have contacts.
