1. It has to be very short.
2. It has to be original. [and no I am not going to steal your ideas]
3. It has to be coherent and not some meaningless mumbo-jumbo like the astrodome shaped alien from different planet came and started eating people or similar crap.
4. If you can't then,
post a synopsis of your favorite short sci-fi story
including the name of the book and the author and why
you find it some mind-boggling and intriguing.

I simply need "a whack on the side of my head" to stir up some creative thoughts and right now my mind is hungry for sci-fi stories.

I am really into photography and I remember years ago when my sister had gotten her first SLR..she had bought filters at that time which she would put on the front of the camera lens and it would add effects to her photos such as fog, rainbows, dreamscape.....and etc.... I know u can use that with photo software..but my SLR is 35mm I have yet find a good Digital SLR to my liking......I have looked everywhere for lens filters but find nothing...anyone have any ideas of what I could use or do???

do you really like me? It's been months, when are you going to smile or say hello?
Guys, how many of you give ladies eye contact but never want to smile, why? Should ladies smile first? What if this man who seem interested in her does not reciprocate the smile? I'll feel extremely foolish if this happens to me and pretend that he is non-existent even if he is right beside me.

when people ask you what if reality is a dream all created by you and nothing is real including friends family careers, pets etc and you realy are alone in the universe.

when alot of people are asked they reply wiht " well it doesnt matter. my life is still real to me and thats what matters"

dont you think its is depressing to think that you may be all alone completely?? all your life and your children and EVERYTHING is just an extremely lonely and fake life. you have been living a lie. so how does that not matter? you are all alone. nothing and no one can help you with anything because you are all alone.

Yo Whats Up... So Heres The Thing I Played The Trumpet From Like 4th Grade To 8th Grade I Was Really Dedicated To it I Was First Chair Trumpet When I Played In A Kid Orchestra I Was Pretty Damn Good... When I Got To High School I Stopped Playing. Its Been Almost 6 Years Since I Picked Up A Trumpet. I Have Pretty Much Forgot All The Musical Note/Pitches But I'm Pretty Sure I Can Still Hit All The Notes Of The Trumpet. But I Want To Get Back On To Playing. The woman is Jewish and was an orphan in Berlin during WWII. I have gotten quite a bit of information about her, and her story is fascinating. How can I get in touch with publishers and what do I do to get them to publish this book? I have been a writer and editor since 1979, and I've written many articles and a national award-winning radio ad, so I do know how to write. I thought I'd never write again and I don't have many, if any, samples anymore. But I truly think her story is worth reading.

im 13 and I am hardcore.I do ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, partnering, etc. but i got sick and missed 2 weeks and i gained some weight from my lack of exercise. so is there a fast way for me to lose 10 lbs in a week? thats how fast yes, i know that losing weight takes time, but there must be some easyish way to lose that much.
