do you really like me? It's been months, when are you going to smile or say hello?
Guys, how many of you give ladies eye contact but never want to smile, why? Should ladies smile first? What if this man who seem interested in her does not reciprocate the smile? I'll feel extremely foolish if this happens to me and pretend that he is non-existent even if he is right beside me.
So what now?

Don't waste your time. Someone who cannot be direct or assertive and let you know that they are interest will always be that way in your interactions with them.

... just make that eye contact and smile... even to a stranger... you never knew what one smile could mean to someone... you may get a lot of weird reactions specially from strangers, but the feeling of giving smile (not to count that its free) is really cool... i do this most of the time, i look at a stranger (same or opposite sex) and then i smile... most would smile back, some would start a conversation, but there are some who would really look at you like your the ugliest thing on earth... but in the end, to see just one reply with a smile back could really make your day thinking, at least you made one person less lonely at that particular time because he/she managed to get a smile back their face...

You can smile without it meaning you 'like' him, and start having conversations.

Perhaps it is a question of confidence. Many people panic when they are shy; do not hold this against them.
