when people ask you what if reality is a dream all created by you and nothing is real including friends family careers, pets etc and you realy are alone in the universe.

when alot of people are asked they reply wiht " well it doesnt matter. my life is still real to me and thats what matters"

dont you think its is depressing to think that you may be all alone completely?? all your life and your children and EVERYTHING is just an extremely lonely and fake life. you have been living a lie. so how does that not matter? you are all alone. nothing and no one can help you with anything because you are all alone.

It certainly cool to think that way, but it doesn't make any logical sense.

For example if the whole world is your own creation then nothing bad would happen to you.

That's why Matrix was so flawed. If Neo could do anything, why did he have to fight them at all? Just make them all disappear, right?

But I digress....

Don't worry, you're not alone.

If the universe is entirely my creation, I am one sick sick puppy. Oh, wait. I'm all in your mind....so you are one sick sick puppy. Perhaps you should imagine a psychotherapist and spend some serious time talking to yourself.

Really, Mr. Brazil, (may I call you Nathan?) If you are the only truth, why would what you imagine be a lie? If you are all that's real, how could your fantasies be fake? See, If all of life is a dream created by you, you don't need any help because you're God.

Now, personally, I don't think you're God. You come off a bit bi-polar and God always struck me a sadomasochist. But on the off chance I'm wrong do you think you could imagine me a 3-way with Pam Anderson and Angelina Jolie? Also, could you send those surrender monkeys in Congress to France where they belong?
Ah....Amen

No, I don't. Because life has no meaning in either case. And if you ever woke up, don't you think you would find that you were a member of some species? Do you really think that some being capable of dreaming all of this exists utterly alone?

If reality is indeed a long dream then I regret eating that curry before I went to bed...

Why think about something that leads to depression. This is an oddity of our species.
