Picture this hypothetical situation.

You're the leader of the Earth Government. You answer to NO ONE. During your reign, it has come to your attention by Earth's leading scientists that the Earth is being choked by the human race, and the only hope for the future for the planet depends on a mass genocide. There is absolutely NO WAY to avoid this grim action.

Who would you have killed and why?

(Don't waste your time if you plan to answer with something like "stupid @ssholes like you".)

writing a book on existenialism that otherwise everyday people
or people of unlikely backgrounds can relate to whenever I feel my philosophy is ready to reveal itself.I think what turns people away from philosophy is that many popular philosophers have this authoritative aura about them.I'm not looking as to so much simplify the essence of it,but to make it more understandable and appealing to the non-typical everyman. What do you think?

Do you guys think that animals like chicken, cows, pigs, etc. are placed on Earth for our sustenance? That their purpose here is to feed us and so it is alright to kill them and feel no regret?

Okay, so why, deep down, is tradition actually important?

If Congress passed a law that would negate tradition and start from scratch, people would fight it tooth and nail. But what is actually the value of tradition? Why do people value it? Is it not just simply a preset societal pattern of doing something that people invented? What is so special about it?

“The big light in the fog
Was but a little lantern
When we came to it.”

This poem talks about how sometimes you build something up so much that the real thing isn’t as grand as expected. The “fog” is all the amazing stuff you expect but once you can see through it you can see what it really is.

In this tiny pond
The great big lake in which
I swam as a boy?

This poem talks about how things their wonders as people grow older. As children it is easier to imaging things to be better than they are. But adults see things as they are and only as they are.

“With a twitching nose
A dog reads a telegram
On a wet tree trunk.”

This haiku written by Richard Wright has a playful side. It simply tells the story of how one dog is “reading” a “telegram” from another dog. It describes the scene and still manages to follow the 5-7-5 rule!!!

“From these warm spring days,
I can still see her sad face
In its last autumn.”

Richard Wright wrote this poem when a woman he knew was about to die. He remembers her “sad face” from “these warm spring days” in the autumn that she is about to die or “its last autumn.

Not all are mine.
1.Your dieing isn't much of a living.-no mine
2.i want to scream, i want to seem, i want to be the one to run far from here to there. i want emotion to over come me, to be, the rage inside, no tears, no feeling. like i don't care what happens, i hate this feeling of confusion of what i want. happy, sad thats to bad. the one thing i want to be sure of, i can't, tho. you make it clear that your be there.-hell no not mine!
3.Holding in the lies. Lieing to myself lieing to my friends. All this does is eat away myinsides. And scream. If only you would hear me. If only you would save me.-me
4.I wipe these tears once more. stareing down at the floor. Wishing to scream. Wishing to be heard. Wanting to run. But I want so much. End this. End this now. Where do I go. Why can't I hide. Can't take control. Hear comes the pain. Here come the tears.-icon?friend?
5.]I know you can see me and I know you can hear me, but thats not what I want. I want you to look at me and listen to me.

In middle school, I suspect they don't want anything GRAND just decent, so if anyone knows a good book with a scene that could be act out, that would be great. If you can help I'll be very grateful.

Something I wrote a few weeks ago:

The realm of darkness
In which I dwell
This place that light and love forgot.
Come seek me out
And join me here
This land where nothing matters.
Descend with me
Down to the depths;
Depravity, pain and filth.

They left me here
In this place not sought
And I can't claw my way back
To the land of the living
The world above
Where happiness still exists.
Instead, abandoned
In this place to rot;
No more than I deserve.

I'm into the preforming arts, especially musical theatre. I am a pretty experienced actor and vocalist, but unfortunately, my dancing skills are not up to par with my other talents. How can I become a better dancer? I have done a lot of simple musical theatre combinations so I am not completely inadequate, but it is definately my weakest art and I want to improve. Should I start small and take beginner classes or what?

Thank you!
