In middle school, I suspect they don't want anything GRAND just decent, so if anyone knows a good book with a scene that could be act out, that would be great. If you can help I'll be very grateful.

There's a scene in the beginning of The Subtle Knife by Philip Pullman where Will fights people in his house and accidentally kills one of them.

There's a lot of scenes in Harry Potter that are pretty intense - try the scene with the Mirror of Erised, or in Dumbledore's office at the end of Order of the Phoenix - you'd get to smash things.

You could do a scene as Jerry Renault from The Chocolate War by Robert Cormier.

You could give the brilliant conclusion as Sherlock Holmes from any of the stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

I can't think of anything else at the moment, but I'll edit if I do!

OK ok I have a really good answer. You should be James Bond. All you have to do is put on a British accent and say Bond, James Bond and go around pretending to shoot people. Who knows you might get a good grade. There is a few James Bond books. The newest book is Casino Royale. Theres a scene where he is chasing this guy through an African desert. You can like jump on desks and on top of stuff and chase someone.

A few good men (the book). Jack Nicholson's tyrade (movie). Parents would recognize and laugh at a kid saying "I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a person who rises and sleeps under the blanket of protection which I provide- and then questions the manner, in which I provide it. I would rather you just said thank you, and went about your way!".... "you can't handle the truth!"...

How about a scene from Ransom of Red Chief where the kidnappers take the obnoxious kid and he is so bad they end up paying to give him back? Could be fun. Pax - C.
