Guess the author to this poem:

Twilight comes
When night meets day,
Like a great battle between,
Black leopard and lion.
Where plain meets jungle,
The battle commences
for who rules all.
Lion is tired, and
with a deafening roar,
the sun droops,
the moon soars.

i hate sceptisism. it realy seems pointless. sceptisism ultimately leads to solipsism. which is a stupid philosophy. because while it is logicaly consistent to itself it is still foundationless and is self contradicting.

there are also alot of theories that pretty much disproves solipsism. like david deutsches areguement and wittgensteins private alnguage arguement. and on top of that how is it that there can be no objective reality? the only logical explanation would be to say its an illusion created by our minds, but if that were true then how is it that we were able to conceive of an illusion if we had no prior reference to anything in order to create it?

so when it realy comes down to it how is sceptisism realy usefeul?

I swear as a child I had a totally non-PC book about a rabbit that gets bullied. The gist of the story is that the bullied rabbit grows up to be big and strong and when he is big, he gets revenge by beating up the originally bully rabbits. It was not meant to be ironic or funny, it was a totally honest children's story book from the late 70s or early 80s. I seem to remember the cover or background in the illustration being orange and the "bully" rabbits have the "x" eyes in the end showing that they were dead or beaten up or whatever. I would love to find this book to prove to myself that I am not just making this up. The illustration style was quite simple. I swear that the moral of the story was that if you get beat up... just wait until you grow up and then you can get revenge.

Abraham Lincoln: considered blacks to be,in his words“a troublesome presence” in the United States.“
I am not nor ever have been in favor of making voters or jurors of negroes, nor of qualifying them to hold office, nor to intermarry with white people; and I will say in addition to this that there is a physical difference between the white and black races which I believe will for ever forbid the two races living together on terms of social and political equality. And inasmuch as they cannot so live, while they do remain together there must be a position of superior and inferior, and I as much as any other man am in favor of having the superior position assigned to the white race.”

READ ALL AND ANSWERR ONLY IF UNDERSTOOD.

Why has the human race (western world at least) forgotten about love, wether it be love for neibour, friend, family or special someone.

Our media is a mirror of ourselves, or at least the marketable majority. And what do we see on it,
Soap Operas where by the end everyone has slept with everyone else.
Tough guy heros that care more about power over the group than figuring out thier problem so that they can live another day.
Tourture and murder proclamed as the way to get information.

But that is to hard to get into, so let us just focus on the single relationship. "Why do you like her?" "Because she is hot!", Ring a bell anyone?

This is the state of our society at the moment. Get together with the best looking one, it's status after all. And what of those who have deformations of mind or body, do they get a look in by the 'normals' as far as relationships go?

So my question is, What has happened to love?

Thanks.

He told her to run

A thundering sound

from a deadly object

peirced through the chest of

the only one she loved

before he could fall

she caught him in her arms

slowly bringing him down with her

her knees taking a blow on the ground

in disbelief

cradling her love.

His sea blue eyes pierced through hers

searching for a way to relieve pain

and turn back time

She cradled him in her arms

like a mother cradling her first born child

She said "baby don't go. It's only a dream. Don't let go."

He said, "Baby it's time to go."

She leaned in and gave him a deep warm kiss and

he returned it.

He whispered in her ear as each breath

got colder

he said "Run. Run away and don't look back."

"I won't run until God has taken your hand to the other side."

"I'll wait for you. You're strong."

"I will seek justice."

"Shh. Run. I will....always be beside...you...run my...love"

Just then, his soft sea blue eyes turned cold and lifeless, staring into her eyes.

Emotions of love and revenge filled her, she couldn't control her tears.

She didn't want to leave him behind.

She closed his eyes with her trembling delicate hand.

She looked ahead but couldn't find the guy that took away her love.

Soon black rose petals began to fall gently around the two.

She sighed and placed her right hand under his upper back, and lifted him with all her might

She wasn't gonna leave him behind.

She carried him. She didn't run but she carried him back home.

As his last words echoed in her head, she began to walk faster, tears streaming harder down her face.

And this is what he told her, "Shh. Run. I will....always be beside...you...run my...love"

Roughly, it is about the main character that sets out to make a loaf of bread and ask all her friends for help. When they all make excuses and say no to wanting to help her, she makes it her self. Once she finishes it of course, everyone wants a piece. Does this sound familar, and do you know the name? Thank you for your help and your time.

I have been offered a contract to represent me and my book, but are they legit? I have heard that this agency hasn't made a single sale with publishers, which is something that obviously concerns me.
