All thru history man has made laws and rules for the purpose of challenging peoples allegiance and obedience. Perhaps the most likely person that ignored laws and rules was Jesus when He would perform miracles on the Sabbath to demonstrate that a "good work" should always be above any man-made law that stifles kindness and giving. Of course, by standing up against those who made the unjust and unfair rules and laws, we remember Him as setting us free from the slavery of laws and rules that put people in bondage.

I would definetly have to say JESUS! It is written that he actually existed in history and has made the largest imact on our world. so much to the point where there are now churches and people following him to this very day. His words were extremely against what the rules and laws were back then, think about it he claimed he was the son of god. I am not saying that I am all into the jesus thing, I just know that he has made the largest impact when compared to columbus or washington, duh. an impact isn't always a "good" one, (for you non believers). An impact is a change. and to the person who gave me a thumbs down for my answer, can you come up with a better one? I didn't think so.

Julius Caesar. He used politics as few had before, gaining an eventual army of his own to use in Gaul for almost 10 years, which up to that time was unheard of. Then, fearing the Senate would strip him of his power and prosecute him for past grievances, while ignoring the fact he was a military hero and loved by the Roman people, he crossed the Rubicon with one of his legions, which was prohibited by law, and marched on Rome, eventually securing his power, and sparking a Civil War which he won a few years later. He became a Dictator of Rome for life after the war and held more power that any Roman before him. He always ignored or abused laws he thought as unjust or, more importantly, that were in his way.

as someone said earlier hitler. He was a very very smart person. He got 7 million ppl to believe his ****. He was very good at performing speeches, his ideology was wrong but he was a very intellegent person, who had no use for laws or regulations. He obvisouly was screwed in the head, but if he got 7 million ppl to hate jews then he must be good at persading ppl.

My second person would be achilles. He had no use for laws or regulations, he was a arragant sob who defied everyone.

Hitler has to have been the most impacting person in our history. His ambitions for a third reich caused the invention of nuclear weapons, the cold war, forty million deaths, space travel, and so on and so on. Not that I think he was a good person. I do not, at all. Its just his goal of world domination set forth things that today we don't associate with him. The thought of that many people dieing from ww2 isn't necessarily directly from the Nazi's, but indirectly from the war.
