The Pope dies, and, uh, goes to Heaven, and Saint Peter greets him, as Saint Peter often does in these stories, and says, you know, "You've led a very holy life on Earth, and, uh, if there's anything you want here in Heaven, we'd be glad to accommodate you. We'd like to reward you for your faithful service on Earth. Is there anything we can do for you?" The Pope says, "Well," he says, "you know, I've never seen the original form of the Bible." Saint Peter says, "Okay, fine." He ushers him into a little room. There on the table is the original version of the Bible, and he leaves him alone in there to browse through it. After a few minutes, he hears the Pope exclaim. "Oh," he says, "Oh, my goodness," he says. "The word is *celebrate*!"

There was a person years ago that was very special to me but neither really knew how the other one felt. We got seperated due to work and college and we just were never able to reach each other again. Either the time was not right for either of us or we did not know where to find the other one. Then out of the blue we recently ran into each other and really felt the sorrow for the loss of time. I am not sure how to feel.

I am looking for peice of my Family heritage, a family that has a sugar plantation in Kingston Jamaica. Their last name is Vital. This family would be related to my Grandmother, Elizabeth Francis Howard(Pratt). If you could find this for my I'd be real happy.

Haven't there been pivotal moments in history where if it wasn't for white people then other races wouldn't have it so good? Like for example, the Africans. Wasn't it white people that fought and died for legislation to let them be free? Wasn't it a white leader who paved the way? So minorities think that if it wasn't for white people THEY would have come here and founded the country? They would have fought the British in the war of independance? The Africans would have defeated Hitler? Shouldn't the minorities be breathing a sigh of relief instead of crying for more wages, college placement, jobs, etc. and claiming that they are discriminated against and that if it wasn't for white people they could live better? I'm no expert in history, but it doesn't take an expert to see these things either.

I remember reading this when I was little, it was about kids who were naming animals, "If I had a ____, I'd name it ____." At the end, they say "But we have a turtle and we named him Fred." I loved this book, but I can't remember the name/author. Anyone remember?
