Yearbook help?

im trying to make our yearbook but we need some creative ideas for it and how to lay it out. All the graduating classes years books have looked horrible. We want it to look really good. We need some creative ideas for the cover and awesome things to put in the inside not just the usual.
Please some good ideas.
Our theme is the 50's like Grease

I am a yearbook teacher and we use Walsworth publishing. They have a great website with really good layout ideas - very unique and creative. Check it out and good luck with your book!
