I had purchased a chinese painting that is 36"x57", I then spent easily $800 having a custom double matting put on it, along with a custom frame. I them tried to have it shipped to me via UPS and they ruined it, the frame has chunks of wood takien out of it and the matting is scarred badly, the painting itself is ripped and torn due to broken glass in the box. I do have another picture I would like to use. I am curious as to wether or not I will have to spend another $800 to reframe or if there is a way to re-use the damaged material I currently have.

Does the world today have any major art movements like back in Renaissance times?

This can be any definable art movement. Some examples are the pop art movement, hypermodernism, romanesque etc.

I'd just like to know if there's any major movements in the world today and where they are.

Does anyone know the rough date of when the Catholic church made it definitive that Jesus was divine and created the trinity?

This is a legitimate question, I know there was a time, before that it was speculative. I'm not looking to get harassed, I just want the rough date and more information to put in my notes.

I am did this book about my life. Every one told me to publish it but I don’t know, for me I don’t like reading about peoples life so I don’t think people like reading about my life.

The book talks about me "born in Palestine" it talks about the things I have seem 'blood, died people, my uncles getting killed in front of me and how I moved to the US and got to understand Americans better and how 9/11 changed how people see and as a Muslim. Also how me and this girl that I meet start be friends and how my mom and dad and her mom and dad did not approve cuss she’s Israeli and I am from Palestine...and so on.

So.... what should I do?? Is it something u would read?

Be truthful but at the same time nice lol.

P.S- true story

What I mean by this is in ethics the question is asked "What is human?"

Another question is if "this" is human and "that" is not human what rights does one have as opposed to the other.

Ethics asks us what a person is, and even though someone may be a human they may not be a person by an ethical standard because a person is quote, "One capable of rational thought" There are other definitions, but my question rests on the idea that since ethics and science give so many definitions, whenever someone picks one it alienates another group of people and turns them into something other than human.

The main point is in this example that a black man was not considered human by most white people when these folks were shipped here to begin with. If this craziness held true to today then none of the black people would be classified as humans because of a crazy point of view that would follow it.

I am trying to find records on Amand Hugo(t) who was the son of Francois Hugo(t) and Catherine Bergeonoi(r)s. According to his biography he was a cousin of the poet Victor Hugo and came to the US in 1849 with his mother, brothers and sisters. He was born in 1837 in the French province of Lorraine.

I have all sorts of records on him in the US and doubt I have left a stone unturned here. But I need to find the town that he came from in France so that i can find the records on the rest of his family. I can't figure out GeneaNet--wierdest site i've ever tried to search--so if anyone can access any databases in France and help me find the family I would really appreciate any help.

Im a 25 yr old female from Chicago, IL that has always loved to dance as a kid and still to this day. I am not professional in ballet or jazz or anything like that. But I want to to join a class for modern dance or whatever just to get in shape and have fun, meet new people things like that. But I am kind of skeptical due to the fact that I dont have any dance training. I was wondering how classes like that work? Im sure there is a beginners course but what about performing in front of the class on your own? Cause I dont do that. I would just like some information on how the classes work and if it is a good workout.
