Does the world today have any major art movements like back in Renaissance times?
This can be any definable art movement. Some examples are the pop art movement, hypermodernism, romanesque etc.
I'd just like to know if there's any major movements in the world today and where they are.

I would say today's movement would be classified as 'new wave digital.' It's hard to pinpoint an exact style as new mediums like Photoshop and Illustrator are redefining the way we create art. We can definitely look back into the past 20 years and see how art has changed from more traditional methods and subjects to advanced digital methods.
