Everyone is unique. We all react differently to different things. Now, we think no one knows us like we do.. you know what we "actually" think, feel, want, need.. It's like we are two different people. The "real" us on the inside- deep deep inside.. And the "other" us we show to other people around us.

But when you actually think about it.. we never get to see that "other" self of ourselves. Other people do. We don't know what we look like when we laugh so hard we start crying. We don't know how we look when we enjoy something, or when we get emotional. We never get to see ourselves in our natural state from the outside. Sure there are cameras and mirrors but it doesn't capture what people we love see everyday...you know those "moments" of us..

What do you think?

Two of my favorite authors - Roald Dahl and Shel Silverstein (RIP, guys!) - have seperate titles for adults and children. I cannot think of any other others that follow this model, but I'm curious to know which ones I am overlooking.

Thanks!

I am a hobby photographer - generally landscapes and some cricket action shots and model photos. I find that the majority of my images are not quite crisp enough. I use manual focus and it seems in focus when I look through the viewfinder, but once I see the photo on my computer (I use a digital SLR camera) there's only ever a very small percentage of my shots really in focus properly and the rest are wasted.
What am I doing wrong? Is it my eyesight perhaps? Do you have any tips to get better results other than using autofocus, which as we all know isn't always ideal and doesn't always give a great result anyway?
Also my photos generally seem quite dull with not much contrast and not much colour vibrance. How do I improve this? I'm guessing with Photoshop - which I really need to learn more about.

Greetings!

What color stationery do you like?
And do you ever use sealing wax?

I used sealing wax at one time but the seal I used was part of a desk key that had a fleur-de-lys which made a pretty seal. I had to give away the desk and that was the end of my pretty seal.

I usually choose black ink pens for every day, but I do like blue for a change.

My favorite, however, is violet ink for lavender stationery, but only for special
occasions. At one time I had some magenta ink for light blue stationery.

And you? What do you like?

Peace & Love
LPM
