Greetings!

What color stationery do you like?
And do you ever use sealing wax?

I used sealing wax at one time but the seal I used was part of a desk key that had a fleur-de-lys which made a pretty seal. I had to give away the desk and that was the end of my pretty seal.

I usually choose black ink pens for every day, but I do like blue for a change.

My favorite, however, is violet ink for lavender stationery, but only for special
occasions. At one time I had some magenta ink for light blue stationery.

And you? What do you like?

Peace & Love

I like most colours of stationery. I will not use lined paper however. I always use a black pen unless I'm writing special handmade Christmas cards and then I use gold or silver.
I've never used sealing wax.

Hi, I usually will buy BLACK ink because if I'm buying a pen its most likely I'll be using the pen for business matters. However I like to use BLUE ink for all other times I write. As far as SEALING WAX I used it in the 1990s, now I think sealing wax is ancient, hard to find, or to expensive to use. There are so many other options. Stickers and stamps with colored ink and expressions you can now modernize your letters and envelopes. STATIONARY ... I like a white background with designs and figures of Flamingos etc.... to make the reader smile... and make the letter warm an expression of the writers personality.... If its a business letter than a warm cream is always inviting to the receivers eye ..( Ocean..)

At university most of the time we HAVE TO use black ink, especially on exam papers and on official documents.
I do prefer coloured inks though, especially magenta and the purple-coloured inks. They look really good, especially with a calligraphy pen or fountain pen.

black ink. this photocopies best and is the only 'colour' that has no variants.

black is professional.

white paper gives the best contrast and is globally accepted.

sealing wax is for Royalty.

Black or Blue - roller balls have different fluidity and handwriting is usually more pleasant -aren't pens becoming obsolete with emails?

I love the new multicolor pens that put out two or three colors. My favorite is the type that puts out silver while black surrounds it.

I'm really anal and have to use black with red for important phrases or underlining. I also only like yellow highlighters.
