Many people seem to think that God can be fooled only by prayer but not doing good deeds for the humanity. Can God be fooled just like the way politicians fool people?

First off, am I the only one who thinks ticketmaster sucks???? What is with all those extra charges they tack on? I typically make a point of avoiding ticketmaster.

That being said, any thoughts on getting about 6-8 tickets to Wicked in Feb? I've tried eBay and all other 'tickets for sale' sites, but I can't seem to find that large of a group at a reasonable cost.

Any ideas?

The Statue of Liberty, the symbol synonymous with the United States of America, was originally intended to stand in Port Said, Egypt. Auguste Bartholdi, the statue’s sculptor, originally intended Lady Liberty to be ‘Egypt carrying the light of Asia’. However, when the project proved too expensive, the statue was diverted to be a gift for America.

I am not suggesting immortality - suppose you'd still die after a 'normal' lifespan of (say) 80 or 90 years, but you'd look and feel the same age for all of it...

I used to ask this question when I was little, (usually shoving a pencil or pen or some other microphone substitute in people's faces), and oddly, my answer is unchanged.

When I was 15, I said 25 - now I'm 39, I say the same. You are an adult, and accorded all the privileges and responsibility that goes with that, but you're still considered young - you can still enjoy all the attention and activities that seem to be exclusive to the young.

I'd be curious as to what other people think - please also tell us how old you are now!

What books would you recommend I read? I am interested in regligion, theology, history, fantasy, feminism, queer studies, metaphysics, and education. But I will also accept other recommendations. Be sure to tell me WHY you recommend the book(s). Thanks.
