There are always people that will tell you this is 'wrong' or you did the 'right' thing, but how can we limit and seperate what is right and what is wrong?

My son lives in Rochester Hills, Michigan. He is a very talented artist, and his work is some of the most creative I've seen.(although some of it is somewhat disturbing, but I really think there's a market for his work. He has a tattoo on his forearm that he actually designed himself and had done in New York and now all his friends want him to design some for them. The problem is, they can't find a tattoo artist around here that will let him design the tattoos...they all say THEY have to design them. How can he get into this line of work?

Okay...I have read all of the Harry Potters, LOTR, Abhorsen, Eragon, the firebringers, and am currently reading the Silver Wolf series, but I've already read it.
I like all different kinds of books, those are just the ones that popped into my head, if any of you have suggestions for really wonderful books, please let me know.
I am rather tired of reading the same books, over and over again.

There's a debate in a local school district concerning the teaching of the internment of Japanese Americans during World War II.

The district proposed standards that REQUIRE teachers to present internment in class as morally wrong.

Other argue that you should look at multiple perspectives of the issue and let the students decide for themselves?

What do you think? Are some historical topics so morally repugnant that students be taught what to think about them?

Even the underlying concept is not at all hard for a child to grasp. The language is simple. The adult content is minimal compared to other literature and media for that age group. Most people I know read it in high school or college, when they have besome familiar with the truth of adulthood for some time.

I know it was a death epithet used by pagans in ancient Rome around the time Christianity was gaining momentum. I have also seen it as "I was not. I was. I am not. I care not." but it think it is really with out the "I was". If anyone can tell me the latin original I would be very thankful.

I live in Canada and I also ordered a book from Signator Publishing. Did anyone use the coupon you received from having your child's picture in the book, or was it a scam as well? I am just furious, I realize I will probably never see my money again but some sort of response as to what happened, from them or their lawyers would be nice.
