I'd like to play the judgebill game and make up numbers because it makes you sound smart if you use numbers when you argue a point.
33% of Christians believe that the earth is right around 6,000 years old while, ummm 42% believe that the Hebrew word "yom" is similar to the English word "day" in that it could be taken to mean many different amounts of time.
-It could be the time while the sun is in the sky. "I work during the day and sleep at night"
-It could be a 24 hour period of time. "I'll meet you back here exactly one day from now."
-It could mean a long general period of time. "Crocodiles were the size of schoolbuses in the day of the dinosaurs."
Lets see, where does that leave me... 33+42=75. So that leaves 25% of Christians believing in something else (as far as the age of the earth).
But of course, since Christians (or at least those that "believe in the notion of creationism) are only .000000000000000001% of the 6 billion or so people on earth, this isn't really something to worry about. (By the way, in case you didn't do the math, that means there are roughly 0.000000006 Christians on earth).
Oh, and I suppose an answer to the question is in order as well. Creation is the belief that a supreme being made the universe and the life in it.
Evolution (with a capital "E") is the theory that life arose spontaneously and has changed from its original form to that which we see today.
evolution (lower case) is " a change in the genetic frequencies of a population over time"

Creation is apparently he biblical theory that god created the universe around 6,000 years ago and everything everywhere is no more than 6000years old. The years are based on counting the generations listed in the Old Testament. The authority for this proposition is simply faith, the belief that what is written in the bible is accurate because god influenced and supervised the authors.
Evolution is based on the study of, among other things, the half-life of carbon atoms. It has been measured by instruments that carbon atoms lose their mass at a specified rate. Therefore, finding an object that is either made of carbon or is physically connected to or associated with carbon will reveal, by measurement, the age of the object. Carbon dating has recorded objects as being older than 6000 years. Much older. Also, geologists have been able to measure the deposits of sediment and soil in riverbeds and canyons. By extrapolating from known deposits (say a known flood that occurred 200 years ago) geologists have been able to measure dates back hundreds of thousands of years. Then we have fossils, such as the dinosaurs, which have been carbon dated over 60 million years ago. Then we have the measurement of the velocity of light. By knowing how fast light travels it is possible to look into the sky with telescopes and locate stars that began sending their light hundreds of thousands of years ago. Every measurement of history that has been made by educated people trained in the scientific method has conclusively demonstrated that the universe was created well over 6000 years ago. I believe the current guess is somewhere around 12 billion years ago. Give or take a few billion years. Unfortunately there are some people who push the idea that 99.999999% of the people and evidence supporting evolution is wrong and the 0.000000000000000001% who believe in the notion of creationism are correct. This is embarrassing.

Both are unproved theories about how we came into being.
Evolution is really more backed up from a scientific point of view and how single-celled organism developed and became more complex.
Creation is another theory created to explain how we came into being BEFORE we developed the idea of evolution. Creation is more of what we thought we came from in terms of gods and deities.

Evolution is a THEORY... which means that it is not confirmed as truth (it annoys me when people say that evolution is true) and it's the basic belief that all life came into existence through random chance.
Creation is also a THEORY... it is basically the story that is told in the Bible of how God made all that exists.

animals and plants evolved through the ages ,this is evolution
humanity was created by the Anunaki as a slave race to mine gold for them
the preceding sub humans were mistrails of genetic engineering and cloning
the reptilian brain in our heads is a souvenir of Anunaki genetics.

one is science, the other is religion. One should be taught in school, the other in church. I'll leave it to you to decide which is which.
