I was 12 when I read the Exorcist and 12 when I saw the Omen. It's scary, but it wouldn't do you any harm to read it. It's good that your reading at all, I can't get my 12 year old to read anything besides her schoolwork.

It just depends on how involved y9ou get in the novels you read. If you can distance yourself from the story, then you should be fine. If you like to really get into the characters and the actions, then I wouldn't suggest this book.

I have one daughter who would be fine with it, my other daughter would have bad dreams for weeks.

Me? I won't even watch Bambi and I'm 56 years old!

I am 17 and I don't believe that you should or should not read something because of your age read what you want to. Remember any knowledge is good knowledge because I promise everything you learn will come in handy one day.

Go for it. I watched horror movies since I was 7. No real difference. There is a lot worse you could be reading.

Sure go ahead but you might want to clear it with your parents first. I was about that age when I read "The Godfather" so you're old enough. Might scare you though.
