Everyone is unique. We all react differently to different things. Now, we think no one knows us like we do.. you know what we "actually" think, feel, want, need.. It's like we are two different people. The "real" us on the inside- deep deep inside.. And the "other" us we show to other people around us.

But when you actually think about it.. we never get to see that "other" self of ourselves. Other people do. We don't know what we look like when we laugh so hard we start crying. We don't know how we look when we enjoy something, or when we get emotional. We never get to see ourselves in our natural state from the outside. Sure there are cameras and mirrors but it doesn't capture what people we love see everyday...you know those "moments" of us..

What do you think?

Let's start with the tbackground stuff:
The part of us that we see in a mirror, or camera, or photo is our consious self. This is what we VISUALLY see. Our consious self sees other people's consious selves (confusing?)

Think of it this way. When we first see someone we may think they are: hot, ugly, slow, skinny, etc. These are physical aspects that our consious looks at.

Now when we get "a hunch" about someone such as: they're smart, dumb, nice, bad, etc. that is our unconsious at work. Our unconsious is very subtle, and we NEVER know when our unconsious is working.

The unconsious can "see" other people's unconsious. This is their personalities. [End of the "fun" stuff]

On to the question:
We do NOT know ourselve like those around us do. We only see our consious side (physical attributes). We don't "see" our unconsious side (personality) because our unconsious is distracted with our surroundings.

Example: when you look in a mirror what do you see? You. Now when you look at a home video of yourself you seem like a completely different person! Why is this? Becuase we arn't used to seeing just a GLIMPS of our true selves. Now this is just one moment, on one video. Try to imagine what your family/friends see in you!!!!

So all in all, we don't know yourselves as much as we think we do.

Great Topic!!!

“ Some do and some don’t “

We have to know ourselves in order to perform within grasp of knowledge and ability. The crucial question is how honest are we to admit our folly and limitations. Most of the time we made a fool of ourselves, not knowing that we are being mocked behind our ears, and in opposite like a visual art so prominently done that we failed outright to see and comprehend the nature of the gossip. ---We think the job is well done.

“Knowing is one but doing is another “ Getting to know our limitation is easy, but changing the wrong to a congenial mode may pose a problem, unless we are adamant to improve ourselves, despite the scorn from all around us that demoralized. We are wiser the next time around making the amends as deem fit in our doings that need rectification. Truly, we get to know ourselves better, having the courage to change and accepting the wrong with nothing so much but an apology that suffice the appeasement to all quarters.

Actually, I always thought other people seem so confident about what they feel and think, but I am never really sure how I feel or think. It's like theres a locked cage in my brain that holds what I'm really feeling, and my conscious doesn't have direct access to it. I just sort-of guess what I think and feel, based on expectations of how I should think and feel that formed from my experiences with how other people acted in similar circumstances.

In other words, I think the inverse of what you think. You think that you KNOW what is "inside", and you don't see what is "outside". But I think I don't know what is "inside", that I'm mostly guessing what is "inside" and thats how I create "outside".

The only time we really get to know the essence of ourselves is when we are in life and death circumstances. The outcome of those really defines our character
