Just because I remember something doesn't necessarily make it true, does it? We have paper documents that seem to prove things. What if I destroyed those records and I am the only one who knows or remembers something? Did it in fact occur, then?

A minor example - I walk into the kitchen, see milk sitting out on the counter, and think, "Oh yes, I left that milk on the counter." That event is only in my mind. If it did occur, it is over. How do I know somebody else didn't put the milk there? How can I rely on my memory? Experiments with eyewitnesses prove that memory is unreliable. Maybe we are all making up our own memories!

What about if 2 or more people remember the same thing? Does that still make it true?

Wow, I could go on and on with this one.

Say I call this a website. What if you also call it a website, but to you it is something completely different than a website.

Or what if i say "the table is orange". You see a table, but to you it is actually the color green, however to you the word for green is orange.

Sorry, it's a bit confusing. Your thoughts?

Every time I say, "I can't take any more," something else bad happens. Obviously, there are many neutral and some little good things in my life, but not nearly enough to cancel out the overwhelming negative events. I realize that some of it is because of choices I make, but the more bad things that happen, the less fortitude I have to make good choices in the future. So I grasp for anything that looks like it might bring me some pleasure. Even when I was younger and really moral and good, things didn't go well for me either. I feel trapped by life and like I have no control. How would you go about changing this?

I hear the shadowy horses
their long manes a shake
their huffs heavy with tumult
their eyes glimmering white
the north unfolds about them
clinging creeping night
the south is pouring down roses of crimson fire
the east her hidden joy before the morning break
the west weeps in pale dew and sighs passing away
beloved let your eyes half close
and your heart beat over my heart
and your hair fall over my breast
drowning love's lonely our
and hiding their tossing manes
and their tumultuous feet.

" Don't talk to me about your cousin Phoebe. "
" You talk about your own relatives enough."
"That's not fair, Vinnie. When I talk about my relatives, I criticize them."

Setting aside people who are colour-blind, do all humans see colours in the same way. If Person A was born and told the colour they were looking at was called 'green' and they saw what I think of as green, and person B was born and told that the same colour was called green but they saw it as being what I think of as blue, then no one would know. So it is possible that my mouse mat looks red to me and blue to you but we both know that the colour of my mouse mat is called red. This sounds much more complicated than it is.
Does anyone agree that this is plausible?
