Does anybody have information concerning HMS Surprise during WW11? I believe my great uncle Horrace Swinerd served on board and seem to remember my mother telling me that the ship was torpedoed in the North Atlantic - is this true?

Does anyone know of any Chafins in the tri-state area?

I am looking for my mother's relatives. They were Chafins, or Chaffin. The family lived around the area where Pennsylvania,Ohio and West Virginia come together. Any information would be greatly appreciated as I have lost track of them.

I want to "spread my wings" an inch or so further in the theater world. How exactly can I do this? Help?

Yeah, I've been in FIVE community theater plays. I'm getting rather tired of them, because they aren't as professional as I know I can deal with, hardly anyone comes to see the shows, and I feel that the casting is usually...er, not good. But that's just me. However, I have been told I'm just wasting my time there, because I can be doing more. I totally agree, so now, I'm looking for a way to move from step one to step two. I can perform comedy and drama fairly well, have been singing for around two or three years, and have no problem when it comes to dancing, since Ihave tooken dance all my life. Any ideas? No Google or Yahoo! Searches, please. Just ideas of what I should do. Please note that I am not sure if I'm ready to take on something that's out of town, for example, LA or even Broadway. Think of this as a...stepping stone, I guess, to actually prepare me FOR that kind of thing. Serious answers only, please!

WHY do some people (maybe ALL people) think they have the RIGHT to...?

I was wondering why some people think they have the RIGHT to judge others?
(I must say, sometimes I judge other people, too- and I am NOT proud of that fact). (ALSO- I KNOW "we are all human", but that seems like more of an excuse than a reason.)
