Mirror is like water which has no colour of its own. As water shows that colour which is mixed in it, same way mirror reflects the same colour which is in front of it. It is subtle body which shows the gross body.

Mirrors made of polished silver may be silver in colour. Usually mirrors are the same colours as the images that they reflect. At least from a scientific scope.

Mirrors are initially transparent i.e. they let the colour pass through. One side is painted silver to enable a reflection of the colour back to the source. If the mirror surface is not flat, this distors the colur source and therfore be made to have weird effects!!!

Since you ask this question in a philosophy category, I would say that mirrors have any colour they reflect. They reflect all light wavelengths and absorb none. Technically I would say that things in general have whatever colour is perceived by your retina, since that is how we identify colour. Possibly everyone sees colours differently because we all have different retinae :-)

I always go with the fact they are so finely polished that they have no real colour, they only reflect light of other things.

They absorb nothing and reflect everything, unlike things that have a colour which reflect some light rays and absorb others.

For example a blue thing absorbs red and green light and reflects blue so we see it.

Mirrors reflect already reflected light.

Black absorbs everything.

Mirror is having changeable colors depending on its reflections. So mirrors have all the colors in the world.

mirrors are reflections therefore surely the colour of the mirror would be whatever was reflected in it?

therefore if you were wearing a yellow t-shirt your reflection would be exactly the same.

What you see in the mirror is a reflection of the Truth...

And the only real Truth, is Love!
