Does anyone know of a good book, in English, dealing with the Sengoku Period of Japan or one on Nobunaga Oda that isn't terribly expensive? I need the book to at least cover 1500-1582/1583.

It has 2 small birds, a nest with some eggs that isn't VERY visible, and it's on a tree branch with small white flowers and larger leaves. At the bottom-right it reads "AHI DES CODINAS" or something along those lines. What is it?????

I fell in love and in awe with the movie and I think it would be wonderful to read the book. Is there any place where I can get the copy? I would rather not buy online (if that is an option), and no ebay please. Please and thank you!

If I ask a question about something I don't understand, it's because it's something I obviously want to try to understand. But if I don't word the question in exactly the right way, people will respond with "don't be judgmental." I'm actually asking the question because I'm trying NOT to be judgmental and want more information from others' points of view! Geesh!

If I say, "How could a man murder 3 Amish girls," is that being judgmental? A judgment is a statement, not a question, right?

I have been googling for an answer to this question and have found nothing reliable so far. There is one literary agency fairly close to where I live but they specify that they only take certain types of submissions; I may try them anyway but I'm not optimistic. And yes, there are many resources on the web but I don't want to send my manuscript out to just anyone-- I want to know that an agent has a success rate with getting stuff published and that it's not a rip-off before I contact them. Has anyone dealt with this problem, and if so-- how did you solve it? (thanks!)

the great rule of conduct for us, in regard to foreign Nations, is...to have with them as little political connection as possible...

In history, what examples support Washington's statement, or what examples in history show that interventions have helped our country.

I hv Christian frnds but they dont think the way u ppl think, and for me, i respect Jesus and i love him as he's a messenger from Allah as Mohammad and Adam and Jacob....etc, and i noticed too that most of u blamed me 4 the spilling mistakes that i did, and i did them 4 a purpose so i see on wht u'll focus,,, the left the main idea and turned to a sub one, and to the person who told me 2 read the bible, i wanna tell him " r u sure that this is the real bible u r reading??" and " which bible 2 read?". this question is meant no offence 2 any Christian since it would be a sin 4 me 2 do so. but....... how many ppl turned from Christianity 2 Islam yearly??? i'll leave the answer 2 u,, peace 4 all.
