Why do we ignore God so much in our lives,is it that we dont value the gifts He has given us in life or is it because we dont think, just live out our time having fun without giving serious thought to this question.

I am looking to find out how much the average life model charges in Australia. Keeping in mind of course that a life model is not a porno baby so please keep the pervy answers to yourself. For those of you who don't know a life model is a nude that poses for artists, not Playboy. Any help will be hugely appreciated.

Does anyone know why the US bombed Hiroshima and Nagasaki - specifically? I understood the goal was to display a show of nuclear force to the Japanese. Could this have been achieved in some other way than targeting 2 civilian populations? Why 2? Why not some mountainside? They could have then said "the next strike will be a large city if you don't surrender"

When I was younger, there was nothing better to do then read. We didn't have cable and after my sports were done, I would curl up with a book. Why do people look at me like I have a third arm gowing from my chest when I tell them I'm going to go home and read?

I don't remember much, but there was an assignment to write an essay using only e-mail. Partners would switch off writing a paragraph then sending it by e-mail for the other one to write the next paragraph. The essay started with a girl talking about some girly stuff then the guy changing it into some kind of space invasion thing, then they start arguing. They end up getting an A for it. I think it's floating around the internet somewhere.. it bugs me that I can't find it and I can't remember it, because I want to share it with a friend..

Authors often go to bookstores around the country and read sections of their newly published books to groups of potential readers. Publishers and booksellers promote these events as a way to build better connection between the authors and readers and hopefully generate more sales for their books. I am interested to know if you attend these events, what do you think of them, what do you like about them, what don't you like about them, etc.? Thanks

Mine is The Charm School by Nelson DeMille. A great spy book! What would you say is the best? Please, no Bible, or Koran or the like because I'm not religious at all.

Or if anyone knows of any ideas I can use? We only have microsoft works on the computer and we would much rather just try and save the money. Any ideas about fonts and clips art or anything like that would be really great. Give me a paint and brush and I am fine. Give me the computer and my creativity goes out the window.

For me, it would probably be Paul Coelho's "The Alchemist".

I thought it was a spectacular book that really makes you think and want to go after your dreams no matter what. I just like how effective it was in regards to the reader...

How about you?

Please don't say the BIble, Quran, or the Torah. Regardless of your religious affiliation, those books are meant to be respected considering they are not particularly the words of man but God.
