you can learn how to wear a kimono/obi from the following website

1)to tie a butterfly(the simplest style) obi:
www.japaneselifestyle.com.au/fashion/butterfly_obi.html
2)to put on a kimono :
www.japaneselifestyle.com.au/fashion/how_to_wear_yukata.html

3)to put on the hakama:

There are also two more useful website worthy to visit, which are www.kyotokimono.com/FAQs.html and www.kimonoplace.com/faq.html.

try a costume shop ... the geisha costume is pretty complex to assemble, but for your purposes, you could probably get away with a stage version.
