Naked Lunch?

i'm reading naked lunch and i'm having a hard time; what is it all about? how is the book broken down? is there a format?

William Boroughs, the author of the Naked Lunch, after finishing the writing of the book he cut it to horizontal pieces and then he glued them together in no special order. He wanted to prove that no matter how you read it, it will make sense.
