I always make my avatar look as much like me as possible. I pretty much only change the hair and clothes if I get bored, but the face is a pretty good cartoon version of mine! Does your avatar look like you?

My school has something called "Coffee House", where students have to stand up in front of everyone on the stage and perform/read a piece of poetry for everyone.

The only main restriction there is, is that is has to be written by a reasonably well-known poet.

Pretending life is kind to us,
We God's innocent offspring,
Pretending we have futere,
We can pretend anything.

Pretending others love me,
And I won't be used by him,
Pretending all that's good in life,
Is not what we breath in.

Pretending when men die each night,
That we are not to blame,
Pretending we are spreading joy,
And not our filthy veins.

Pretending it's our beauty,
That makes people passing stare,
Pretending we're not dying,
Pretending someone cares.

The rain made her lonely.
It always had.
Imagining herself out there-covered by droplets, her body caressed in the downpour…
it made her want a friend there with her,
someone who loved her,
someone who would take her in their arms-
in the rain.

The rain made her lonely,
and it would continue to do so until the day she had someone with her in the deluge
Someone to listen to those euphoric drops hitting the ground.
Someone to love her.
In the rain.
