It's got to be Sam Vimes! Of all the DW character arcs, the 'City Watch' novels are my favourites, and he's the most interesting character in them. I'm guessing that TP likes him too, given that a lot of the recent books have used the Watch as foils.
Death's a close second, though.

If the 'Nac Mac Feegle' books count I would have to say Tiffany as she reminds me of myself when I was younger.
If not than maybe Nobby Nobbs, just loved it when they tried to tell him he was aristocracy and he could take over the city "But Vimes would go spare!!!".
But then again I really love Susan. Love the line in 'Thief of Time' when she says "Do bears POO in the woods?" I also work with children and sometimes find myself doing this (replacing rude words with more acceptable ones).
Oh I don't know its too hard lol.

Sam Vimes. No doubt about that. I love everything about him. His holey boots; his tea, - boiled orange with a dollop of yesterdays milk. ahh he makes me smile.
also a big fan of Sybil, Detritus, Granny, Nobby&Colon, The Patrician, Susan, Leonard,Tiffany, Death, the Burser... man, and the Librarian. How could I forget him. I love Buddy from soul music too.
Kind of too many to mention.

The incomparable His Grace Commander Sir Samuel Vimes, may his boot soles never get any thicker and may he finally tell poor Sybil he loves her.
