Upon knowing who the individual was that Hester Prynne was covering up for, do you think Hester Prynne exhibited devotion to her Faith and an act of sacrifice by refusing to reveal that person's identity?

(Good way to test if people have read the book.)

After looking at some of the answers, I don't think some of the people responding know what a Rhetorical Question is.

If the Lowercase "t" is shaped like the Crucifix and Hester Prynne sacrificed herself like a Female Jesus Christ with the Mark of the Scarlet Letter, do you think Nathaniel Hawthorne's underlying message was that it's really just a story about "t and A"?

:)

Hester Prynne, all on my own in the hot international, have been given in contact along with her minister. The affair produced somewhat one. Her long lost husband, a creepy older guy, returns from his 2 3 hundred and sixty 5 days absence between the community human beings to be certain her on the scaffold being given a letter A for adultery. Wil the minister confess his dating? Will Hester tell? Will her unusual little lady demonstrate the secret or will the creepy guy get his revenge via torturing the minister over his hypocrisy? examine something of the radical to be certain!

I never read it, but a few general questions could be:

What was the climax?
Who was the main character and what impact did they make in the story?
Where and when was it set? Did the setting make a difference in the story?
What's the scarlet letter?
