I’m a graphic designer and edit photos all the time, I’m getting a new computer and I was wondering what is the best LCD monitor. Any advice? Thanks

You want the best? If you're prepared to spend $7000, get this: http://www.necdisplay.com/products/ProductDetail.cfm?Product=412&ClassificationFamily=9&Classification=3&ProductGroup=LCD
Or these:
Eizo Flexscan L797 $2,000.00
Eizo ColorEdge CG19 $1600.00
LaCie 319 $900.00
Samsung 193T $800.00

Walk into a majority of graphic design or commercial photography studios and guess what you will often times see...Lacie monitors. For many years the Lacie name has become synonymous with graphics and color correction. Although I personally dont like LCD monitors for doing design work I would go for one of the older Lacie CRT monitors along with one of their monitor color calibrators. CRT monitors may look like obsolete dionsaurs but they are still far superior as compared to LCD monitors for doing any kind of serious design or color correction work. But if you want a good monitor start here, and be sure you calibrate it properly http://www.lacie.com/ just because you buy an expensive monitor doesnt mean that your images are going to be WYSIWG

LCD is not the best for Graphic Design.
CRT is.
CRT displays more colors , more close to nature.
if you insist on LCD, i suggest buying 19 inch LCD, most valuable.
For both LCD and CRT, i recommend Sumsung, you wont regret.
Hope it helps
