I'm just looking for a few more books to read. I really like Candace Bushner and the shoppaholic books. Or something pop culture related.

Ok I have to write a character sketch about one of the characters - Reverned John Hale... I need to come up with 2 adjectives that describe him: I put resolute or strong and can you help me come up with another one that would make my teacher go "wow" ?? I have a thesaurus but its not very helpful.....

providing links of character sketch examples is helpful and highly appreciated :)

This guy on ebay is selling a painting, painted by himself as #2 of 5. He says he's been trained in art in college. To me this makes no sense. Isn't each painting considered an original and one-of-a-kind painting? http://tinyurl.com/ehdx3

Here is the choice:
You must decide on who lives and who dies:
1. Your 65 year old father (or other parental figure)
or
2. A 5 year old child that you have never met before
or
3. Yourself

Two can live, one must die.

Who would you choose, if given no other option, and why?

(Classic psych question)

If one wants to go beyond either a predecided opinion, or rely on good ol' common sense, it is a good idea to think things through. On this forum I have found that I have become a grasshopper, I suggest that little effort goes into really thinking about anything for long on this site, especially with the emphasis on points encouraging one to go for quick hits. Looking at the points people accumulate I suggest lots are on a quick fix. at least I have been since starting, and suddenly realised that I was in the same frame of mind as when I was looking for the next quick "fix", questions of diverse nature being answered, or asked, and then abandonned to get onto the next one. I suggest Yahoo answers far from encouraging constructive original thought does the opposite. Of course this is obvious but it has taken me 2 days to suss it. Information overload. Hardly any question lasts for more than 10 minutes, which is inevitable in this format, Who does this benefit?

If your child was murdered - would you want justice? Well it's been 11 years and still nothing?
My friend Deanna Cremin was murdered 11 years ago. She was found strangled just one block from her house. We are gathering signatures to try to have her story aired on COLD CASE FILES. We are hoping these signatures will have an impact on the decision of airing it. PLEASE HELP US! We have until OCTOBER 1st to have 4000 signatures and we need less than 200. We are having a silent march for Deanna that day and there will be media there. It would be great to have 200+ people there with 4000 signatures saying something needs to be done about this UNSOLVED MURDER! Please send the link to everyone you know....It's not a scam...google Deanna's name and you will see it's unfortunately true OR you may go to her WEB SITE:

http://www.deannacremin.org/

PLEASE GO TO THIS LINKS BELOW AND SIGN OUR PETITION. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP! MAY GOD BLESS YOU!
