The Complete Sherlock Holmes by Arthur Conan Doyle (obviously)
Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace (my favourite novel - also has advantage of being 1000+ pages long so by the time you finish, you've forgotten the start and can read it all over again)
The Road to Reality by Roger Penrose (impossibly complicated book that supposedly explains the laws of the universe to the layman - give it five years in lock-up and I might understand it)
The Lost Continent by Bill Bryson (one man's journey of discovery across 1980s America - never fails to crack me up)
Dunno about the last one. Guess complete works of Shakespeare or the Bible would keep me busy, even if they are such cliched choices.
