They're all hard, but I would claim that the harp and everything in the guitar family (guitar/banjo/mandolin/ukulele etc.) are easier than the violin/viola/cello/bass family, because they don't produce a continuum of notes. Playing the harp is like playing the piano in that you have to pluck the right string, but you don't have to be that exact about where you put your fingers; same with the guitar instruments, because of frets.

Among the others, violin is probably hardest not because it's intrinsically more difficult, but because stuff written for the violin tends to be showier and most virtuosic. It's a matter of repertoire, not instrument.

Being a guitarist I would say the Violin would be the hardest because of the lack of frets on the neck of the instrument, however the guitar can be a lifelong journey to proficiency, and the banjo is supposed to be very difficult as well because of the finger picking mehtods used to play it. Best of luck

Wind contraptions have not got one be conscious one fingering. and unquestionably, would not that's greater stable to play an tool the place you have not have been given any decision on the thank you to play each be conscious? No team of contraptions is greater stable than yet another. they're all diverse so which you won't be in a position to truly learn them in any way yet evaluating subject is ridiculous as you commence interior an identical place with all contraptions. String contraptions are greater complicated in some factors, you may extremely think of approximately phraseology with strings while on wind contraptions your phraseology comes for sure with respiration. yet you have have been given to construct up your lips and tongue for wind contraptions. And the piano is by no skill an basic tool (i be attentive to you probably did not say it grow to be notwithstanding it grow to be implyed. No tool is easy however the piano is amazingly complicated to play good. As for the age undertaking i'm fairly particular wind contraptions are older than strings.

Any string instrument without frets can be more difficult for some people to learn. It requires a good ear to start with!
