That all depends on which side of the glass screen you're looking from. That's a question that could be answered in one of about fifty ways depending on the context, I'm assuming you're referring to psychiatric patients, hence the van gogh theme, have you read Nausea? Yes, monkeyman and I are patient with Dr. Who and the time lords....just when will the Sci-Fi channel buy the rights to show ALL of the episodes....talk about a late night "filler"

I saw the words Doctor and Who and assumed this question would be as fine as the show Doctor Who.

I would say that the doctor is the doctor and the patient is usually not a doctor.

I don't think so. I mean, doctors go to school for a long time and study very in-depth how to be a doctor and most patients have no experience with medical studies.

The doctors are the one with the real cure..the others are patients pretending to be doctors. Know what'll cure you before seeking medical attention!

the patients are hypocondraics and the doctors are just pill pushers who accept everyone's self diagnosese because it saves them time and effort, and they get their $160.00 an hour regardless--more if they manage to get the patient to become dependant on magic pills............
