I read a book a few years ago about a man who I think escape prision and stumbled upon a couple in a summer home. He raped the wife (while forcing the husband to watch) and shot both of them, but the husband survived. After discovering the husband had survived, the killer begin calling the husband daily. Taunting him about his killing spree.

I recall the killer coming upon a couple parked in the woods and forcing them to engage in a threesome with him. Afterwards, killing the girl but allowing the guy to live temporary.

Also it was discovered he (the killer) was having an incestious relationship with his mother. Does this ring a bell for anyone?

we r like ginipig. i have just seen loose change 2nd edition. I am now afraid of living. Is that neccesary to do all this things with the innocent people? why do they need more money ? why don't they think like a child who is pure and never harmfull to anybody..they can make the better world. why don't they even try for it ? why in the era of technology people are dieing for food? why mother's are crying for their children? why fathers are carrying their dead children?

I need assistance identifying this sword. I will do my best to describe it to you.

The sword is one that we have owned for wuite some time, but had been in storage in the attic. I recently brought it out and have looked it over but cant quite identify the actual origin and type.

The sword has a slightly curved blade and is of Bastard length. The blade itself is very wide, and quite heavy. The grip is suited to a single hand, but can be used with two. The pommel is flarred wide and preventss the hand from slipping off the heavy sword.

The quillion is not as large as most, and sweeps foward on both sides. Most distinguishing feature is the curvature of the blade, it almost resembles a middle eastern weapon, but has a spanish look and feel to it.

I know this is hard to do by mere words, but can someone point me in the right direction as to the type and origin of this sword.

My initial guess is Spanish, with some sort of middle eastern influence.
