I read a book a few years ago about a man who I think escape prision and stumbled upon a couple in a summer home. He raped the wife (while forcing the husband to watch) and shot both of them, but the husband survived. After discovering the husband had survived, the killer begin calling the husband daily. Taunting him about his killing spree.

I recall the killer coming upon a couple parked in the woods and forcing them to engage in a threesome with him. Afterwards, killing the girl but allowing the guy to live temporary.

Also it was discovered he (the killer) was having an incestious relationship with his mother. Does this ring a bell for anyone?

Sorry, I don't think I want it to ring a bell with me. Sounds like a book I wouldn't want to read.

I don't want it to ring my bell. I have a tip for you: start reading other types of books.
