trains are good places for reflection, are there scientists or artists who have famously thought up their idea on train, that you know of?

Actually, YES--if you count a city tram as a train. This is a true story: Albert Einstein used to work in the patent office in Berne, Switzerland. And every day he would take the tram to work. On the way he would pass a clock tower. And over time, riding the tram every day, he started wondering what would happen to the clock--to time--if the train went faster or slower. And then he wondered would would happen to time if the train was travelling at the speed of light--how the clock would look to people ON the tram. Would time itself appear to change? It's said that this is how he came up with his Theory of Relativity!

ADDENDUM: OMG, how could I forget...this is ALSO true: J.K. Rowling was on a train from Manchester to London in the UK--and she says that by the time she got off the train, she had completely conceived of the "Harry Potter" idea and most of the major characters. If Einstein's Theory of Relativity is arguably the greatest scientific idea thought of on a train (tram), then "Harry Potter" is undoubtedly the most successful artistic work invented on a train ride....
