A question was posed "how will the human race survive the next 100 years". Well honestly whether it is 100, or 1000, or 1 million years, sooner or later it will end for us, so what should be the goal for humanity to accomplish before the end happens, regardless of when? Without an "end-game" in mind, I fail to see the significance, beyond our own creature comfort, in determining when the end will be.

Does anyone else know about this?
How come the idea that they weren't has persisted? We call them Egyptians, when they called themselves Kemuts, or Black people. Growing up, when I thought of Egyptians, I never thought of black people. It took a black history class to change this idea!
Don't believe me? Take a look at some of the theories...

What keeps us from screwing each other over, not doing something or having to do it because of morality? Is it because we'd be punished, it's instrumental, expected, legal or previously agreed upon? Three very simple words seem to supply an endless array of responses from everyone I've ever asked.

So, I ask you, the collective minds of the internet, "Why be moral?"

I have read that in some Muslim countries a theft is punishable by the loss of the perpertrators hands. In the United States, under a "three strikes your our law", there is a shoplifter in California serving life in prison. Think about it which would you take?

"All societies discourage and penalize ideas and writing that threaten the ruling status quo." Stand up for your "unpopular" beliefs get ridculed and shunned by your society but conform to their "popular" beliefs and get praise and acceptence.
Which are you? Do you have the courage to stand out or are you so timid that you choose to blend in?
