A question was posed "how will the human race survive the next 100 years". Well honestly whether it is 100, or 1000, or 1 million years, sooner or later it will end for us, so what should be the goal for humanity to accomplish before the end happens, regardless of when? Without an "end-game" in mind, I fail to see the significance, beyond our own creature comfort, in determining when the end will be.

Biologically each of us knows what we should try to achieve, sex!!! Pass on our gene's. Without humanity to judge on its existence once we are gone no matter what we did it means nothing. We should strive to achieve a world where we exist, anything beyond that is immaterial without our viewpoint to see it. As for those of you who would mention aliens, their views on our rights and wrongs could be so unbelievably askew that trying to reconcile the two views would be next to impossible.
Pass on you gene's guys, prolong our unexplained existence

Leave a time capsule for civilizations following ours, listing what we did right, and what we did wrong. Hopefully, a more intelligent species will take our lessons and skip the painful parts for themselves.
